2024 Benefits Open Enrollment

Open Enrollment for your 2024 benefits will be held from November 13 - 29, 2023. This is the period each year when you can make changes to your current benefit elections.

How to Enroll

You will complete your enrollment in UKG between November 13 - 29, 2023. Follow the instructions below to complete your enrollment:

  1. Log into UKG, hover over the menu, select Myself and then scroll down to Open Enrollment
  2. Choose ”2024 Open Enrollment
  3. Navigate through the Enrollment Screen to add and confirm dependents.
  4. Advance through each page and decline or elect your benefit choices in each of the benefit plans offered. Review and confirm your choices and beneficiaries.
  5. Please note that the estimated totals will only reflect the amounts for benefits elected in the system. This is a bi-weekly deduction amount.
  6. Hit the back button or select any hyperlink from the menu bar at the left to modify your benefit choices, if needed. Hit submit to lock your benefit elections.
  7. Print or Save you Benefits Confirmation letter, it will confirm all of your elections.

Health Savings Account (HSA) ▼

When you enroll in our HSA medical plan, you have the option to open a Health Savings Account (HSA). HSA funds can be used to pay for eligible medical, dental and vision expenses for you and your eligible dependents, including deductibles, coinsurance, prescriptions, acupuncture and more, tax-free, now and in the future. Family members do not need to be covered under your plan in order to use the HSA funds.

With the HSA, you are in charge. You decide:

  • How much you’ll contribute;
  • When to pay for eligible expenses with HSA funds directly
  • Whether to save HSA funds for future expenses or retirement.

2024 Annual HSA Contribution Limits:

  • Single: $4,150
  • Single+1/Family: $8,300
  • Add an extra $1,000 if you are age 55 or older

2024 Brightpoint Contribution:

  • Single: $750
  • Single+1/Family: $1,500
  • Add an extra $1,000 if you are age 55 or older

Flexible Spending Account (FSA) ▼

Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) offer a tax-free way to reimburse yourself for eligible health care and dependent care expenses (as defined by the IRS). There are two types of Flexible Spending Accounts:

  • The Health Care FSA
  • The Dependent Care FSA

You may participate in one or both accounts. You may deposit up to $3,200 per year in a Health Care FSA and/or up to $5,000 per year in a Dependent Care FSA.

Please note that these accounts are separate — you may choose to participate in one, both, or neither. You cannot use money from the Health Care FSA to cover expenses eligible under the Dependent Care FSA or vice versa.

You must actively re-enroll in either FSA plan each year. You are not automatically re-enrolled.

BRi will roll up to $640 into the 2024 plan balance at the conclusion of the 2023 claims runout period on April 1, 2024. If you’ve enrolled in the HSA plan and are making deposits into that plan, your rollover balance will be put into the Limited Purpose FSA.

Disability ▼

Administered by BlueCross BlueShield - New provider!

If you become ill or suffer an injury that prevents you from working, this form of disability insurance replaces a portion
of your income for a defined maximum period of time.

Long-Term Disability (LTD) provides a monthly benefit in the event that you become disabled and are unable to work. Long-Term Disability provides replacement income to give you financial security. This benefit is provided by Brightpoint at no cost to you.

This coverage pays you a benefit of up to 60% of your monthly earnings, not to exceed $10,000 per month. The plan begins paying these benefits after you have been unable to work for 90 consecutive days. Click here to learn more.

Short-Term Disability (STD) provides a weekly benefit for expenses incurred if you cannot work several weeks due to an illness or injury unrelated to work. This benefit is provided by Brightpoint at no cost to you.

This coverage pays you a benefit of up to 60% of your weekly earnings, up to $1000 per week. The plan begins paying these benefits on the 8th day after the accident or illness and will pay you a weekly benefit for up to 12 weeks. Click here to learn more.

Life and AD&D ▼

Basic Life and AD&D Insurance

Basic Life Insurance helps ease your loved ones’ financial burden. Your designated beneficiary will receive a benefit
if you pass away from a covered accident or illness. In addition, Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) provides a benefit to your beneficiary if you pass on or become dismembered due to a specifically covered accident. Click here to learn more. Always make sure your beneficiaries are updated.

Brightpoint provides coverage at two times your annual base salary, up to $375,000. This benefit is provided by Brightpoint at no cost to you.

Voluntary Life and AD&D Insurance

You may also choose to purchase Supplemental Life Insurance coverage in addition to the company-paid benefit. You pay the total cost of this benefit through convenient payroll deduction. NOTE: You must choose Employee Supplemental Life Insurance in order to purchase spouse and child life. Guaranteed Issue applies to new hires only, otherwise Evidence of Insurability (EOI) will apply. You can elect additional life insurance coverage for:

  • Yourself up to 4 times your base annual salary
  • Your spouse up to $50,000
