401(k) Retirement Savings Plan ▼

Administered through J.P. Morgan

Saving for retirement is an essential piece of your overall financial wellness. Because of this, Massey Services offers a robust 401(k) retirement plan through J.P. Morgan, where you can contribute pre-tax or Roth (after-tax)
dollars and save for your future.

2026 contribution maximum: $24,500

Catch-up: age 50+ in 2026: Additional $8,000 ($32,500 maximum)

Catch-up: ages 60-63 in 2026: Additional $11,500 ($35,750 maximum)

Not sure whether to select pre-tax (traditional) or after-tax (Roth)? Check with your financial advisor to determine the best choice for you. The basic differences:

  • Pre-tax: your contributions come out of your paycheck before Federal and state taxes but after FICA (Medicare and Social Security) taxes. You’ll pay regular income tax when you withdraw your money at retirement.

  • Roth (after-tax): your contributions come out of your paycheck after taxes. When you withdraw your funds at retirement, they’re tax-free.

Eligibility & Enrollment

  • Full-time team members aged 19 and older are eligible to participate beginning the first day of the month after completing 60 days of employment.

  • Once eligible, team members are automatically enrolled to contribute 4% of their compensation on a pre-tax basis.

  • The automatic 4% payroll deduction will increase by 1% each year until you reach a 7% contribution rate or you elect another contribution percentage.

  • The plan allows rollovers from other tax-qualified retirement plans

Contributions & Vesting

  • Massey Services may provide annual matching contributions at its discretion. To receive a match, you must contribute to your 401(k).

  • You are immediately 100% vested in your own contributions as soon as you enroll.

  • After three years of employment, you become fully vested in Massey Services’ matching contributions.
