March 11 - 24, 2026
Benefits are more important than ever, and we encourage you to take time to review your options to ensure your coverage continues to meet the needs of you and your family.
This year’s Open Enrollment will be a passive enrollment. If you do not take action, your current benefit elections will roll over into the upcoming plan year. However, you must actively re-elect your Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and Dependent Care FSA contributions, as these elections do not automatically carry over.
Open Enrollment is also an excellent time to review and update your beneficiary designations to ensure your information is current and accurate.
Voluntary Accident, Critical Illness, and Cancer/Intensive Care benefits elected in prior years are now administered through The Standard. The Standard acquired Allstate, so your benefits were not replaced—just administered by a new provider. Rates remain the same, and no action is required unless you wish to make changes during enrollment.

Administered through UPMC
The Inside Advantage (IA) HRA EPO Plan is the default plan for employees that reside in Pennsylvania. You will receive the best benefits by using providers in the IA Benefit Level 1, which are UPMC providers and UPMC-owned facilities, along with many community-owned providers. Benefit Level 2 includes many UPMC contracted facilities, and the services affiliated with those facilities, such as laboratory and pathology tests, x-ray, MRI therapy services, etc. Providers participating in the Inside Advantage plan are located in Pennsylvania. Costs for coverage are paid through pre-tax payroll deductions. By paying on a pre-tax basis, your cost is lower because the earnings you use to pay premiums are not subject to federal tax withholding or Social Security (FICA) taxes. Please refer to the summary plan descriptions for details
If you live in Ohio, your default plan is the HRA PPO plan. This plan accesses the UPMC Premium Network that includes providers located in Ohio. The HRA EPO plan also accesses the UPMC Premium Network and is available for Pennsylvania-based employees that have continuing care needs with providers that are not participating in the Inside Advantage plan. The payroll deductions for this plan will be higher than payroll deductions for the Inside Advantage Plan. Costs for coverage are paid through pre-tax payroll deductions. By paying on a pre-tax basis, your cost is lower because the earnings you use to pay premiums are not subject to federal tax withholding or Social Security (FICA) taxes. Please refer to the summary plan descriptions for details.
All medical plans include preventive care services 100% covered under your medical insurance, meaning no copays or deductibles will apply when an in-network provider delivers the covered services. Preventive exams can detect if you are at risk for a chronic disease that may be preventable.
The plan covers preventive care visits at 100%, includes an out-of-pocket maximum to protect you should a catastrophic event occur, and out-of-network coverage if needed. Although out-of-network coverage is available, using in-network providers will save you money. You can find BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee network providers online at bcbst.com.

Rather than having to visit the ER because your doctor’s office is closed, or having to take a sick child to the doctor’s office when you only need a prescription, you can send a text and get a response from One to One Health’s board certified providers within 5 minutes.
Biometric Screening
With the goal of helping you achieve a healthier and more balanced lifestyle, you have the option of participating in a biometric screening. This helps those enrolled in our medical plan to reach their
personal health and wellness objectives. By establishing a health profile through biometric screenings, you can set health and wellness goals for yourself. This is the first step in managing your health.
By taking an active role in your wellness and participating in a biometric screening, you and your spouse will receive a $25 bonus.
