You do not need an ID card to get services through your vision plan. You Social Security number is used as the employee ID number. Dependents covered on the plan will also be identified by the your Social Security number.

Basic Life and AD&D Insurance
Palacios Marine & Industrial provides Basic Term Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) for all full-time employees working 30 or more hours per week. Full-time employees receive $25,000, starting in 2025, of Basic Life and AD&D Benefits.
Voluntary Life Insurance
With MetLife’s Voluntary Life Insurance, Palacios Marine & Industrial gives you the opportunity to buy valuable life insurance coverage for yourself up to 5X earnings to a max of $500,000, your spouse up to $100,000, and your dependent children up to $10,000 — all at affordable group rates.

If you want PMI benefits, IRS regulations require that you complete the enrollment process within 30 days of your Start Date (if a new hire), or during annual Open Enrollment, or if you experience a Qualifying Life Event during the year.
