You have two choices for Medical coverage: BCBS of Alabama Medical Plan or Allegro Medical Plan. Both Plans provide care for in‐network and out‐of‐network benefits as well as provide routine preventive care at no cost. Your weekly cost is reduced if you (and your spouse, if applicable) complete a wellness assessment.

Visiting the dentist regularly can help prevent and detect early stages of many diseases and conditions. Guardian will roll over a portion of your unused annual dental maximum into a personal Maximum Rollover Account, which can be used in future years if the plan’s annual maximum is reached. As a bonus, additional funds are rolled over if in‐network dentists are used exclusively during the benefit year. The Low Dental Plan does not have Maximum Rollover.

The Aetna Accident Plan pays cash benefits directly to you when you have a covered accident. You can use the money to pay for everyday expenses like mortgage payments, day care or utility bills. Or you can use the cash for expenses like coinsurance, or to help cover your medical plan's deductible. It's up to you. Benefits are payable no matter what other medical coverage you might have. So if you get injured, your savings won't get hurt as well.
Every year that you complete a qualified health screening, like an annual physical or dental exam, you and your covered dependent(s) are eligible for a $75 Wellness Benefit. This policy also pays an additional 25% on each benefit for injuries sustained to you or an insured dependent in an organized sporting activity.

The BHS Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a professional service providing assessment, short-term counseling and referral to appropriate treatment providers or programs when needed. It is a company benefit, provided by your employer at no cost to you.
