For detailed information about each of the benefits plans and programs available to you and your family, please click on the down arrow for each benefit listed below or refer to our Benefit Guide. This site provides a highlight of the plans offered by your employer and in no way serves as the Summary Plan Description or plan document for the plans. Health Savings Account (HSA) ▼

When you enroll in our High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP), you have the option to open a Health Savings Account (HSA). HSA funds can be used to pay for eligible medical, dental and vision expenses for you and your eligible dependents, including deductibles, coinsurance, prescriptions, acupuncture and more, tax-free, now and in the future. Family members do not need to be covered under your plan in order to use the HSA funds.

With the HSA, you are in charge. You decide:

  • How much you’ll contribute;
  • When to pay for eligible expenses with HSA funds directly (you can also reimburse yourself from the account);
  • How and if you want to invest your HSA funds (a balance of at least $2,000 is required to invest); and
  • Whether to save HSA funds for future expenses or retirement.

Kesser will be making a $500 Single, $750 Employee + Spouse, $750 Employee + Child(ren), and $1,000 Family contribution into your HSA. The contribution is in two installments: the first pay period in January and the first pay period in July.

2025 Annual HSA Contributions Limits:

  • Single: $4,300
  • Single+1/Family: $8,550
  • Add an extra $1,000 if you are age 55 or older

2025 Kesser HSA Contributions:

  • Team Member: $500
  • Team Member + Spouse: $750
  • Team Member + Child(ren): $750
  • Family: $1,000

Voluntary Short-Term Disability (STD)

When you can’t work, income replacement insurance can be a financial lifeline during an uncertain time. That’s the assurance of TransDI Plus. It helps replace up to 60% of your salary if you’re unable to work due to total disability. Your company is making this voluntary insurance available to you. You can select the amount you want to buy in $100 increments. Once you’ve satisfied the waiting period, your benefits will continue as long as you are totally disabled, up to the maximum waiting period stated in the policy. If you are ready to return to work immediately after being totally disabled but cannot yet work full-time, you could receive up to 50% of your monthly benefit for up to six months while you are partially disabled.

FLEXIBLE BENEFIT AMOUNTS
With TransDI Plus, you can select the amount you want to buy in $100 increments. For periods of disability that last less than one month, you will be paid at 1/30th of the monthly benefit for each day you are eligible to receive benefits.

Basic Life and AD&D

Basic Life Insurance is only for employees who are enrolled in Major Medical plans ($5,000 HDHP or ACP 16-Medicare). Basic Life Insurance helps ease your loved ones’ financial burden. Your designated beneficiary will receive a benefit if you pass away from a covered accident or illness. In addition, Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) provides a benefit to your beneficiary if you pass on or become dismembered due to a specifically covered accident. Always make sure your beneficiaries are updated. The cost of the benefit is 100% paid for by the company.

Voluntary Life and AD&D

Voluntary Term Life/AD&D allows you to purchase additional coverage at your own financial expense to ease your loved ones’ financial burden if something should happen to you. Costs are determined on group discounted rates. Always make sure your beneficiary information is updated. An employee must elect employee coverage in order for a spouse or child to elect coverage. An employee’s maximum benefit election cannot exceed 5x their basic annual earnings. A spouse’s maximum election cannot exceed 50% of what the employee takes out on themselves. Domestic partners are also eligible for spouse coverage. Children are eligible for coverage from 15 days to 26 years old (Age 25 in Texas).

During this open enrollment, you can enroll up to $100,000 without answering medical questions! 

The cost of the benefit is 100% paid for by you. Your age and the amount of insurance you elect determines the premium you’ll pay. Costs will go up as you age.

Cancer Management

Additionally, Cancer Advocate offers pharmacogenomic (PGx) testing. This innovative approach analyzes your DNA to determine the most effective treatment options for your specific genetic profile. By tailoring treatment plans to individual patients, this analysis can maximize the chances of successful outcomes and minimize potential side effects.

Insurance Protection

Employees with Cancer Advocate will receive cash payments over a 12–month period to help reduce the financial burden of cancer. Cancer Benefit payment can be in increments of $5,000 for up to $15,000 in cash payments. Payments are made directly to the employee, or upon death, to the designated beneficiary.

Cancer Care

But Cancer Advocate doesn't stop there. Chubb understands that navigating the complex world of cancer care can be overwhelming. That's why Cancer Advocate provides a dedicated oncology nurse advocate to guide you through every step of your journey. From coordinating clinical trial enrollment to facilitating expert medical reviews, Chubb will provide a nurse advocate to be there to support you and ensure you receive the highest quality care.

Cancer Recovery

Employees will also receive Recurrence Monitoring for up to 3 years following completion of active treatment, with frequency tailored to employees’ specific cancer type.

Privacy

Neither your insurer, employer, nor healthOme have access to view employee health or genetic data, which is considered Protected Health Information (PHI). Employees have full control over who has access to their data.
