Your medical, dental, vision, and pharmacy benefits will be offered through Tri-Net’s contracted insurance companies, depending on where you live. The types of plans available to you will also vary.
Here are some examples of the different types of plans you may be eligible to enroll in. You may have all these options or just a select few.
Tri-Net will manage your medical, dental, vision, and pharmacy plans. Your Renown recruitment contact will send you the medical, dental, vision, and pharmacy plans available to you along with the bi-weekly rates for each plan.

To help protect you and your family, you’ll have a variety of voluntary financial protection benefits you can select from Tri-Net’s various vendors. Below is a list of the types of the supplemental benefit plans you can enroll in. These supplemental benefits are guaranteed issue as a new hire. If you elect these benefits during Open Enrollment they may be subject to medical underwriting.

Renown offers full- and part-time employees up to 10 paid holidays and vacation time, which are combined in an annual leave bank. Annual leave front load or accrual amounts are based on the employee’s type of position, length of service in a benefit-eligible position and full-time equivalent (FTE).
Sick, Mental and Emotional Well-Being Leave
This leave is accrued at a rate of 3.08 hours per 80 hour pay period. The maximum amount of sick, mental, and emotional well-being leave you may accumulate is 480 hours (prorated based on FTE.). This leave may be used to care for ill immediate family members and for emotional or mental health when needed. Paid Military Leave
Above and beyond what is covered by USERRA, Renown offers up to 120 hours of paid military benefit to full- and part-time employees who are active members of the U.S. Armed Forces, National Guard or any reserve component of the U.S. Armed Forces.

Public Student Loan Forgiveness Program
Want to learn how to have your student loans forgiven? As the only not-for-profit health system in northern Nevada, Renown Health is proud to team up with Bright Horizons to assist you with all aspects of the Public Student Loan Forgiveness program. The Public Student Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program can help forgive certain Federal Direct student loans for eligible Renown employees.
About the PSLF Program
Through the PSLF program, employees who work for non-profit organizations can qualify for student loan forgiveness when it comes to their Federal Direct student loans. The Federal Student Aid Office of the U.S Department of Education has provided the following criteria for qualification under the PSLF Program:
