Providers' time off and Short-Term Disability plan benefits differ slightly from other employees'. Please see below to review your benefits.
Rest, recreation and wellness are important employee benefits for individual well-being. Renown offers full and part-time employees time away from work.
Unless set forth below for a particular specialty’s CLV bank, all providers (either physician or advanced practice provider) will receive a standard annual CLV bank of 7 weeks (280 hours) of time off each January 1 pro-rated based on their FTE status.
Renown Health provides a Short Term Disability (STD) policy at no cost for all benefit-eligible providers (physicians and advanced practice providers). This policy provides short-term disability income continuation to eligible providers who are medically unable to work due to pregnancy/childbirth, injury or illness.
Providers are automatically enrolled the first day of the month following 30 days of employment.
The plan provides for a weekly benefit of 70% of base pay, up to a maximum of $3,500 a week. You can receive payment for up to 13 weeks as long as you remain disabled.
Benefits begin immediately if you become disabled due to an injury and after 7 days if you become disabled due to an illness.
