It’s okay to not be okay!

Maintaining good mental health is essential to overall health and well-being. Mental health conditions are common, manageable, and treatable. About half of Americans will meet the criteria for a diagnosable mental health condition sometime in their lives, with symptoms starting by age 14 for the majority of people.

At TGH, we understand that our team members and their loved ones may face mental health symptoms like depression and anxiety. As such, TGH offers several programs to support your mental well-being. We encourage you to learn more about these programs that can help support you and your family.

Employee Assistance Program ▼

Administered by GuidanceResources

Everyone needs help sometimes solving problems. Your well-being, productivity, and happiness depend on balancing your life at home and your life at work. We recognize that it’s difficult to be on task at work when you are worrying about problems at home, and you can’t devote sufficient time to yourself and your family if you’re feeling overwhelmed by the demands of your job. Your benefits package includes the EAP at no cost to you.

When you call the toll-free line, you’ll talk to an experienced professional who will provide counseling, work-life advice and referrals. All counselors hold master’s degrees, with broad-based clinical skills and at least three years of experience in counseling on a variety of issues. For face-to-face sessions, you’ll meet with a credentialed, state-licensed counselor. You and your family get in-person help for short-term issues (up to five sessions with a counselor per person, per issue, per year) at no cost.
