Tampa General Hospital uses AbsenceSoft to improve how you request, view, and manage a leave of absence or accommodation. AbsenceSoft’s Self-Service Portal makes it easier for you to submit leave and accommodation requests, track their status, submit any needed documentation, and communicate with the TGH Benefits Department  - all from your computer or mobile device.

Steps to Request Your Leave of Absence

  1. Log in with single sign-on (SSO)
  2. Select New Request
  3. Select Request New Leave
  4. Review and confirm your Personal Info
  5. Select the Reason for the Case and answer any related questions
  6. Choose your leave type: Consecutive, Intermittent or Reduced absence - click each option to see what it means
  7. Include your estimated Start and End Dates - you can adjust these later if needed
  8. Review your case details and Submit Request - this automatically notifies your HR team

  7. Review your case details and Submit Request - this automatically notifies your HR team
